Our service
CompareSolar is an independent comparison and lead-referral service. We connect you with third-party solar installers. We do not install solar systems, and we are not party to any contract you enter into with an installer.
No advice or guarantee
Information on this site — including costs, savings, payback periods and generation estimates — is general guidance only and is not professional, financial or engineering advice, and is not a quote. Figures are indicative and vary by property, region and system. Always confirm details with a qualified installer before making a decision.
Installer quotes and work
Quotes, pricing, warranties and the quality of any installation are the responsibility of the installer you choose. We do not warrant the work, products or pricing of any installer in our network, although we take reasonable steps to vet the installers we refer.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information and to use the site lawfully. You must not misuse the site or submit another person's details without their permission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from your dealings with any installer. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
